Hi, I’m Jacob Sanderson – the proud founder and owner of Illuminated Cleaning Co. right here in southeastern Wisconsin.

I built this company from the ground up because I believe every family deserves a home that doesn’t just look clean… it feels brand new. That’s the promise I make to every client in Racine, Kenosha, Delavan, Lake Geneva, Caledonia, Pleasant Prairie, Mount Pleasant, and across all of southeastern Wisconsin.

Growing up in Chicago, I dreamed of becoming a leader and discovered early on that I loved the satisfaction of turning something ordinary into something shining and fresh. That passion carried me through years in the cleaning industry – from precise food-grade factory cleaning to running professional teams in medical facilities, including chemo laboratories where every detail truly mattered. Along the way, I helped a small residential cleaning company and fell in love with the heart of it all: walking into a family’s home and leaving it brighter, calmer, and truly cared for. That’s when I knew it was time to chase my dream and start Illuminated Cleaning Co. – a family-run business built on the same values I live by every single day.

Nothing fills me with more pride than my family. My two daughters, Delilah (18) and Echo (10), are the center of my world. We’re a tight-knit crew who loves a good challenge, weekend adventures, and giving back to our community. Every summer, Echo joins me on visits to clients who have pets – she’s my little sidekick, learning the value of hard work and the joy of making people’s homes sparkle. Watching her light up when a client thanks us reminds me why I do this. This business isn’t just mine… it’s ours. It’s how I show my girls the same pride in family, hard work, and doing things the right way that I was raised with.

I’m a proud American through and through. I love this country for the freedom, opportunity, and unbreakable spirit it stands for – the same spirit that lets a kid from Chicago build something meaningful in the heartland. And I couldn’t be more grateful to call Wisconsin home. This state – with its strong families, hardworking communities, and beautiful lakeshore towns – is where we truly belong. Here, integrity still means something, neighbors still look out for one another, and taking pride in your work is just part of who we are.
